posted Tuesday, November 18, 2008 8:00 PM
by Brett Farmiloe, Pursue the Passion - Madison

Tuesday is the day where I take a question I’ve received and answer it on this blog. Today’s question is from Lucia, a freshman at Fairfax High School in Lavene , Arizona . Lucia asks: Where do you think a teen’s first job should be at or could be at? To answer this question, I would keep two things in mind. One is that your options for a job are only as limited as you allow them to be. In other words, if you think that the only job for a 16 year old ... (Read More)

It’s official.  While I am a late on the scene, having joined the Twitter revolution less than 60 hours ago, I am already hooked.  No, I’m not addicted to knowing who is going to the grocery store, the coffee shop and the bathroom.  (seriously people – note item #4 in the tips section below).  I’m addicted to the knowledge sharing.  A curious person by nature, I’m finding Twitter to be the equivalent of a 7-shot ... Remarkable People

by Nora Burns, Insightful Endeavors Int'l

Last month I had the distinct honor of meeting Desmond Tutu. The evening was amazing in itself and made all that more special by the fact that I shared it with my mom. I wish you could have been there…..we were at the VIP reception after the Archbishop’s talk…..the room was filled with excited chatter, the clinking of glasses and the laugher of friends. Reverend Tutu was mingling with guests. I had spoken with him earlier in the evening and now I ... (Read More)
